How to Wash Your Beeswax Wrap
Sometimes I use round beeswax wraps to cover mason jars full of spices. This means that sometimes the spices get on the wrap - have no fear because they are easy to clean.
The beeswax wrap in the video was covering a jar full of cumin and I wanted to clean it off. I only wash mine when they need it and not after every use. Use your own judgement.
Bonus - beeswax has antibacterial / antimicrobial properties against several bacterial strains and against yeast, and is breathable.
A few easy steps: *cold or room temp water *a little mild dish soap *rub gently *let dry - wraps won't stick when wet
Because you shouldn't use hot water, I don't recommend using the wraps on raw meat.
